Our peer support groups follow the principles in the Peer Support Charter. In joining our peer support group, we ask you to agree to support our values and principles. Reshapers CIC: This work can be shared only under the terms of our Creative Commons License.Every support group must have guidelines for individual and group expectations. It is the facilitator's responsibility to ensure that everyone in the group understands and adheres to them. Guidelines generally include and address group etiquette and boundaries (refer to appendices for more detail).The support groups are not led by professionals or certified experts. They are led by peers and family members that are willing to serve as a facilitator. DBSA support group facilitators are not licensed or certified by any authority, but they do have a shared purpose: to improve the lives of people living with mood disorders.
